    very light foundation

    I wouldn't even call this a foundation in a sense because it is too light and has to be reapplied often. It also runs out quickly and is nothing like it's prior ancestor which was much more like a real powder foundation. This pales in comparison.

    A Total Miss

    This product is a MASSSIVE downgrade from the Smooth Finish foundation. I’ve been using Smooth Finish since 2014 and have purchased 30+ compacts over the years. I tried this new powder and was so disappointed by everything: the packaging is cheap and not ergonomic, the shade options are too light or too orange, it’s not buildable even with my LM brush. I had such a hard time blending and getting it to look smooth. It’s doesn’t give luxury and absolutely isn’t worth $54. There are so many other brands that does powder foundation better than this one. I be returning and will never purchase another compact from LM.

    I was upset bec the compact I had been using was discontinued- then your chat option suggested this product, so I gave it a try - I had recently been unhappy, bec my face was always shiny (loads of product, plus sunscreen plus tinted (spf) moisturizer). Powder did nothing! Now, after a week of this compact, I’m learning how to apply, and I’ve seen a large improvement on shine over time - thx again!

    Not meeting expectations

    Very dry, the whole makeup looks dry and cakey. Did not expect a Laura Mercier product of this quality.

    Love this.

    I have been using this foundation non stop since I got it. I have oily skin so I tend to lean towards powder foundations. Love it has buildable coverage where I need it. Great shade match and most important of all…. No breakouts. Love

    Missing the old LM powder foundation...

    I miss the Smooth Finish Foundation Powder! This is somewhat comparable, but I find the coverage isn't as good and it doesn't last nearly as long.

    Excellent foundation powder

    This is by far the best foundation powder I’ve ever used. I have lots of uneven skin coloring and varying skin textures. This powder evens things out, making my skin look much younger.
