Laura’s counter to heavy on-set makeup, this technique emphasizes effortless application for just-right coverage that lets your skin shine through.

Step 1

Dispense a small amount on the back of your hand and use as a palette.

Step 2

Pick up a small amount from back of the hand, apply with fingers and smooth over face in a downward motion.

Step 3

tart in the center of the face where you want the most coverage, then smooth outwards and downwards, repeating on forehead and chin.

Bring back the old formula
Sadly really not getting on with the new formula, looks and feels a lot thicker and not so light and gentle on the skin as the original oil free formula.
So gutted as the original was the only face product I loved on my skin and I've sadly spent £39 on a foundation I won't be able to use.

New formula disappointing
The new formulation is less easy to apply as it is thick and more tricky to blend. It is also a little more drying - my eye area felt dry by the end of the day. You need to use less of it, but the tube is slightly smaller than the oil free natural skin perfector. 45ml vs 50ml.
I also found it difficult to select the correct shade in the new range as the names and codes have changed. I tried to match the code as best I could but the colour I have chosen looks a bit too light on me.
Please bring back the old formula as it was more light weight and a more natural finish.

New formula is a disappointment
I’m so disappointed in this new formula. I’ve been using the Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser for years and the new formula is very different and noticeably worse. It’s much thicker and more obvious, it settles into fine lines, and makes the skin pilly. Please bring back the old formula!!
